My name is Dr. Angelyn Hilton and I am currently a post-doc at the USDA-ARS Pecan Breeding and Genetics program in College Station, TX. I received my Ph.D. at Texas A&M University in Plant Pathology and am currently specialized in studying pecan diseases caused by bacteria and other pathogens. My goal through research is to gain a better understanding of the etiology of pecan diseases and to develop strategies for integrated pest management and optimal cultivar/rootstock selection.
