Seedlings from a cross between 'Pawnee' and 'Elliott' are being tested.

Seedlings from a cross between ‘Pawnee’ and ‘Elliott’ are being tested in the laboratory for resistance particular isolate of pecan scab. Researchers will use this information to better understand the inheritance of scab resistance and the presence of multiple races of the scab fungus influences the expression of resistance in the field.
